New for 2027, the Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) returns with the launch of the new Speed Twin 1200 TFC, the fifth model to wear the prestigious TFC badge. Representing the pinnacle of hand-crafted British custom design, this limited-edition motorcycle elevates the acclaimed Speed Twin 1200 RS with exquisite design details and high-performance components.

Limited to just 750 motorcycles worldwide, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC features carbon fibre bodywork, unique badging, machined bar-end mirrors, a leather and suede bench seat, gold chain and fork lowers, and blacked-out detailing throughout. Finished in a distinctive Obsidian Gold paint scheme, every motorcycle is individually numbered and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Engineered to deliver an even more engaging riding experience, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC features sportier ergonomics with clip-on handlebars, complemented by fully adjustable Öhlins front and rear suspension. Premium chassis components enhance precision, control and rider feedback, while Akrapovič titanium silencers amplify the unmistakable Triumph soundtrack.

Punchy, torque-rich power comes from Triumph's 1200cc Bonneville twin, delivering strong performance with unrivalled character. Rider-focused technology, including Triumph Shift Assist. Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, provide the precision and confidence to exploit thrilling performance on every road.

Triumph Factory Custom (TFC)
Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) represents the most exclusive expression of Triumph Motorcycles. Launched in 2019, TFC models are produced in strictly limited numbers, combining enhanced performance and equipment specification with design innovations and ultra-premium finishes. Each TFC delivers the individuality and presence of a custom build with the engineering depth of a factory-developed machine.

The new Speed Twin 1200 TFC follows the Thruxton TFC, Rocket 3 TFC, and two editions of the Bobber TFC, becoming only the fifth motorcycle to wear the TFC badge.

Exclusive and Exquisite
Each motorcycle carries its own unique edition number, laser-etched alongside the TFC emblem on the billet aluminium top yoke, while a signed Certificate of Authenticity accompanies every motorcycle.

From the front mudguard emblem to the metallised clutch and alternator cover monograms, each feature is designed and finished with precision and intent. The gold chain finish and gold anodised lower fork legs and suspension adjusters combine functional enhancement with a striking aesthetic.

Gloss carbon fibre details, including the mudguards, side panels with TFC branding and heel guards, further reinforce its hand-crafted finish. Each motorcycle is also supplied with a branded indoor cover and waterproof seat cover.

Elevated Sports Style
Low-set clip-on handlebars, a billet aluminium top yoke and rearset footpegs combine to create an assertive riding position, strengthening the rider’s connection and enhancing control.

The Obsidian Gold paint treatment gives the fuel tank a striking yet understated presence, blending a metallic black base with gold metal flakes that reveal a subtle glow in changing light. This is complemented by gloss-lacquered carbon fibre bodywork, with front and rear mudguards, heel guards, and sculpted side panels crafted from the lightweight composite, adding a technical, motorsport-inspired edge.

Blacked-out elements, from the fork legs and rear sprocket to the control plates and engine covers, create a dark, sophisticated finish that is matched by the black Akrapovič silencers. A one-piece bench seat, finished in black leather and high-grip sports suede with rib detailing and hand-stitched construction, blends comfort with a tailored, custom sports appearance.

Modern lighting integrates seamlessly into the design, enhancing both form and function. Compact bullet-style multifunction rear lights combine indicator, brake and tail light duties for a clean, custom-inspired rear profile, while matching short-stem LED bullet indicators and a timeless round LED headlight provide clear visibility alongside a distinctive light signature.

Premium Components
Built around a lightweight, high-strength tubular steel cradle frame and specified with premium components throughout, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC delivers agile, confidence-inspiring handling on any road. Fully adjustable Öhlins suspension front and rear, finished in black with gold anodised fork lowers, provides exceptional composure and responsiveness, with fine-tuning for preload, compression and rebound damping allowing riders to optimise control and feel to suit their preferences.

High-performance braking and reduced weight further enhance the dynamic capability. Brembo Stylema calipers, paired with a Brembo radial master cylinder, deliver powerful, controlled stopping performance, with an adjustable MCS lever providing precise feedback at the rider’s fingertips. Lightweight seven-spoke cast aluminium wheels reduce inertia for quicker steering and sharper direction changes, while Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres offer exceptional grip and feel, ensuring the Speed Twin 1200 TFC’s agile handling and responsiveness can be fully exploited.

Class-Leading Performance
Designed to provide a thrilling, torque-rich ride, the ‘High Power’ engine produces a wave of instant response from low in the rev range, with 112 Nm available from just 4,250 rpm. Peak power of 105 PS at 7,750 rpm ensures strong acceleration, delivering an engaging and rewarding experience with every twist of the throttle.

Power is matched by unmistakable character and sound. Twin Akrapovič titanium megaphone silencers enhance presence, their deep, distinctive note delivering an evocative Bonneville soundtrack. Finished in lightweight titanium with black detailing and carbon fibre end caps, they complement the engine’s iconic 270-degree firing order, enabling the Speed Twin 1200 TFC to combine modern capability with timeless Bonneville character.

Technology
Like the RS, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC integrates rider-focused technology designed to enhance every ride. Triumph Shift Assist enables lightning-fast, clutchless gear changes across the six-speed gearbox, working seamlessly with the engine’s torque-rich delivery. Whether short-shifting through the mid-range or accelerating hard towards the redline, each shift is smooth and precise, with rev-matched downshifts maintaining balance and composure into every corner.

Rider-focused control is further enhanced through three integrated riding modes. The ride-by-wire throttle system provides Sport, Road and Rain settings, allowing the delivery of performance to be tailored to riding conditions. Road mode offers a direct and intuitive connection, while Sport sharpens throttle response and optimises traction control intervention for a more immediate and dynamic character.

Advanced safety systems operate unobtrusively to support confident riding in all conditions. Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control monitor lean angle, speed and calculate available grip, ensuring consistent performance whether braking or accelerating, upright or at lean, intervening smoothly and unobtrusively only when necessary

Classic design is combined with contemporary functionality in the cockpit. A round instrument dial houses a large, easy-to-read LCD display, complemented by a colour TFT screen controlled via intuitive handlebar inputs, while a conveniently integrated USB-C charging socket ensures devices remain powered on the longest rides.

The exclusive Speed Twin 1200 TFC combines exquisite Triumph Factory Custom design with elevated sports style, to deliver the pinnacle of modern classic performance.

On the Road
Customers in the UK can reserve their new Speed Twin 1200 TFC online using Triumph’s Reserve My Triumph technology, securing their new bike with a deposit through their nominated dealer.

Delivering a fun, agile and confidence-inspiring ride for riders of all ages and experience levels, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X launched in 2023 with a brand-new single engine platform (TR Series), representing incredible value for money and bringing Triumph to a whole new generation of riders. The range has now expanded to include the Scrambler 400 XC, Thruxton 400 and Tracker 400.
The Modern Classics feature Triumph’s legendary Bonneville twin engine. Famously named to celebrate Triumph’s 1956 land speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, the Bonneville was the original British superbike and a race-winner straight out of the crate, chosen by famous motorcyclists of the past for its handling, style, and character. Now, the Bonneville family has evolved, with rider-focused technology and cool custom style. The range includes the Bonneville Bobber, Bonneville Speedmaster, Speed Twin 900, Speed Twin 1200, Scrambler 900, Scrambler 1200 and the iconic Bonneville T120 and T100.
The Roadsters start with the agile and popular Trident 660 and Trident 800, with the sporty Daytona 660 and Street Triple 765 RS and RX, and finally the Speed Triple 1200 RS and RX. For adventure riders, Triumph has a complete line-up of epic Tigers, starting with the Tiger Sport 660 and Tiger Sport 800, moving up to the Tiger 900 range, and finally to the Tiger 1200 range.

In October 2025, Triumph Motorcycles launched its first electric youth motorcycles; the new Triumph TXP range, powered by OSET. TRIUMPH RACING

Triumph has a glorious racing history, competing in and winning races in almost every class and field of motorcycle sporting achievement, from winning the second ever Isle of Man TT in 1908, to the thrilling last-lap victory at the legendary Daytona 200 by Brandon Paasch on the Street Triple 765 in 2022.
Triumph’s racing legend continues as the exclusive engine supplier to the FIM Moto2™ World Championship since the start of the 2019 season. Triumph Motorcycles provides all the teams with race-tuned 765cc triples, each of which is based on the class-leading Street Triple RS powerplant. Redefining the class, Triumph broke record after record in the inaugural year, including the first ever +300km/h Moto2™ top speed. Reflecting these great successes, the wonderful feedback, and partnerships that Triumph have had with the riders and their teams, and the incredible response from Triumph fans across the world, Triumph and Dorna, decided to extend the relationship in 2021 and again in 2023, signing a new contract for another five years of racing: 2025 – 2029.
Triumph is working with PTR Triumph Factory Racing to participate in the 2026 World Supersport Championship. Tom Booth-Amos and Oli Bayliss are racing on the Street Triple 765. Macadam Triumph Factory Racing continues with British Supersport riders Brad Perie and Max Wadsworth. Triumph will also enter the all-new Sportbike World Championship with the Daytona 660. On the roads Triumph will compete at the Daytona 200 and the NW200 with the PTR Triumph Racing team, with KTS Macadam Triumph Factory Racing also lining up for a number of stops on the road racing calendar including the IOM TT.
In 2023, Triumph announced its intention to compete in the 2024 MXGP/MX2 and SuperMotocross World Championships, and after two successful seasons, is racing with a four-rider team for 2026. Jordon Smith, Austin Forkner, Jalek, and Mikkel Haarup are racing for the British manufacturer, competing for the first time in AMA 450 Supercross with the TF 450-X, as well as the AMA 250SX East Championship with the TF 250-X. Triumph will also compete in the AMA Pro Motocross series in both categories. Triumph earned its first Main Event win in Supercross in February 2025, and has enjoyed podium finishes in the Pro Motocross series in ’24 and ‘25. In the FIM MX2 World Championship Camden McLellan is competing for a third season aboard Triumph machinery, alongside Guillem Farres with positive momentum in the new season thanks to podium results from ’24 and ’25, as well as a first moto win in April 2025.
In September 2024 Paul Edmondson was officially appointed Team Manager of Triumph Factory Racing’s enduro programme. In 2025, Jonny Walker took 2nd place overall in the SuperEnduro World Championship on his TF 250 and finished the 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo on a near-standard TF 250-E four-stroke. Walker went on to win the AMA EnduroCross championship with the TF 450-E. Triumph earned podium finishes in the Enduro1 category of the EnduroGP World Championship with riders Mikael Persson and Morgan Lesiardo. Lesiardo took Triumph’s first Enduro1 overall victory and EnduroGP podium. Triumph competed at its first International Six Days Enduro in August with the TF 250-E contributing to Italy’s World Team Trophy victory with Lesiardo and Team Sweden’s first podium in decades with Persson, as well as impressive top five individual finishes overall. Triumph’s factory effort lines up with Mikael Persson and Jeremy Sydow for 2026, with Jamie McCanney moving to a role as Rider Coach.
