2025 Tiger 900 GT Pro A2

  • Triumph Motorcycles launches a Tiger 900 GT Pro A2 variant
  • Revised engine tune with A2 compliant 95PS peak power, and accessory restrictor kit
  • Available in dealerships from July 2025

Triumph Motorcycles is launching a new variant of its award-winning middleweight adventure bike, the Tiger 900 GT Pro, with a revised power output, specifically for new and younger riders with an A2 licence.

Identical in every other way to the current Tiger 900 GT Pro, which set a new benchmark in road-focused adventure when it launched in 2024, this A2 compliant variant has a revised engine tune that delivers 95PS peak power. An accessory restrictor kit can be fitted to reduce the power output to 46PS (35kW), meeting A2 licence requirements. Once the rider has gained their full ‘A’ licence, the restrictor kit can be easily removed by a Triumph dealer to restore the bike to its unrestricted 95PS power.

“The Tiger 900 GT Pro has always had a broad appeal, combining all-road capability and comfort with distinctive Tiger attitude,” said Triumph’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud. “Increasing numbers of new and younger riders aspire to adventure riding, with plans to take their bike on tour and discover new places, so this addition to our A2 compliant range will make that possible. For A2 licence holders across UK & Europe looking for a bike that can handle both the commute and the weekend adventures, this new Tiger 900 GT Pro variant, will be ideal.”

The current Tiger 900 GT Pro first arrived in dealerships in 2024, delivering a significant step-up in performance, capability and all-day comfort, with an aggressive style and poise.

TRADEMARK ENGINE AND T PLANE CRANK
The Tiger 900’s trademark three-cylinder engine has a new tune for this variant, giving 95PS of peak power as well as good tractability lower in the rev range. With its T-plane crank and offset firing intervals, the Tiger 900 maintains its characterful and distinctive performance and sound, as well as achieving enhanced performance throughout the whole rev range. On the road the Tiger 900 GT Pro is agile and easy to ride at low speeds, but with plenty of performance for rapid bursts of acceleration and effortless high-speed touring.

EXCEPTIONALLY CAPABLE CHASSIS
Featuring premium MarzocchiTM suspension tuned for maximum all-road capability, the GT Pro is fitted with 45mm USD fully adjustable cartridge forks. The rear suspension unit has electronically adjustable preload and rebound damping, which allows for easy and convenient preload adjustments at the touch of a button to suit riders travelling solo, with a pillion or fully loaded.

With 180mm of fork travel and 170mm of rear wheel travel, the set-up has been tuned specifically for the GT to deliver excellent road handling and long-ride comfort.

RIDER-FOCUSED TECHNOLOGY
The Tiger 900 GT Pro A2 variant has a comprehensive range of active safety features, including an emergency deceleration warning system, which activates the rapid flashing of the rear light when braking rapidly and automatically deactivates when pulling away.

Optimised cornering ABS and Traction Control comes as standard, with a ride-by-wire throttle so the level of assistance can be altered with five different standard riding modes — Road, Rain, Sport, Off-Road and Rider Configurable. The Triumph Shift Assist allows clutch-less gear changes both up and down the gearbox for seamless acceleration and super-smooth deceleration, reducing rider fatigue, especially for congested urban riding conditions. A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is also standard on the GT Pro model.

The My Triumph Connectivity System also comes as standard, so customers can access music, phone and turn by turn navigation via an intuitive and easy-to-read 7” TFT display which is bonded to the glass for a crisp, non-reflective image.

ENHANCED ERGONOMICS
Ensuring all-day comfort, whether commuting or touring, the Tiger 900 GT Pro includes a damped handlebar mounting system, heated grips and a heated rider seat, with 20mm adjustability on the seat height. An accessory heated low rider seat is also available which reduces the seat height by a further 20mm. This means the GT Pro A2 variant has a potential seat height as low as 800mm, which combined with the narrow stand over width, improves accessibility.

The GT Pro also features a 20-litre fuel tank and manually adjustable flyscreen with five settings spanning 50mm, ensuring all riders can enjoy excellent high-speed wind protection.

50+ ACCESSORIES
More than 50 accessories and four accessory kits are available for the Tiger 900 GT Pro.  The fully loaded Protection Pack showcases key practical accessories, lower and upper engine bar kits, tank pad, sump guard, fork protectors, radiator guard and for off-road, a headlight guard kit. The Trekker and Expedition packs provide two distinct, tailored luggage options for extended touring or off-road adventures.

ON THE ROAD
The Tiger 900 GT Pro A2 variant will be available from July 2025 in two premium colour schemes; Graphite and Sapphire Black, and Carnival Red and Sapphire Black. The new model starts at £14,095 (including premium colour) OTR, with an additional cost charged at the dealership for the A2 licence restrictor kit and fitting.
