For 2026, Triumph Motorcycles has introduced key updates to the Scrambler 1200 XE, responding to customer demand with a premium suspension upgrade and striking new colour options.

Further reinforcing its high-performance credentials and off-road capability, the 1200 XE gains premium branded, fully adjustable 47mm diameter Showa forks and twin Öhlins RSUs with twin springs in addition to its already impressive list of specification.

Featuring a prominent XE graphic and gold details on the fuel tank, the 2026 models are available in two premium colour schemes. Riders can choose from the adventure-ready Matt Khaki Green & Matt Crystal White, or the eye-catching Silver Ice & Phantom Black. The stealthy Sapphire Black remains as the standard option.

An uncompromising blend of rugged off-road capability, timeless Scrambler style and cutting-edge technology, the Scrambler 1200 XE sets the benchmark for adventure-ready modern classics.

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles said: “Our customers expect the Scrambler 1200 XE to deliver uncompromising performance, and the demand for the top-tier components that go along with this has never been higher. The combination of premium Showa and Öhlins suspension gives riders the control, comfort and confidence they need, on road or off the beaten track. For the XE, we’re delivering the very best, reinforcing the bike’s reputation as a machine built to go further, harder, and with absolute precision.

“As well as demanding performance, Scrambler 1200 XE riders are looking for the rugged style and sophistication that made this model the perfect choice for 007 in No Time to Die. Our customers are looking for a motorcycle that reflects their own personal style, and the Scrambler 1200 XE delivers this with two new distinctive colour schemes for 2026.”

Built for the Trail. Refined for the Road.
At the heart of the XE’s capability is its dedicated Scrambler chassis, engineered for confidence across all terrains. The long-travel cast aluminium swingarm and fully adjustable suspension deliver an impressive 250mm of wheel travel. Up front, premium 47mm Showa USD forks offer full adjustability, while at the rear, twin Öhlins piggyback shocks, each fitted with dual springs provide unmatched control and comfort, whether riding solo or fully loaded.

Braking performance is equally uncompromising. Brembo Stylema M4.30 radial monobloc calipers paired with twin 320mm discs offer class-leading stopping power, complemented by a Nissin rear caliper and 255mm disc. Triumph’s Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control systems ensure maximum confidence through every turn, with the option to switch off electronic intervention entirely for advanced off-road riding.

Power with Personality
The Scrambler 1200 XE is powered by Triumph’s legendary 1200cc ‘High Power’ Bonneville twin, with a dedicated Scrambler tune.

With 90PS peak power and a torque-rich delivery throughout the rev range, peaking at 110Nm at just 4,250rpm, the engine offers exhilarating acceleration and tractable control across all conditions. The large 50mm throttle body improves gas flow, while the brushed stainless steel high-level silencers deliver the unmistakable Scrambler soundtrack. A six-speed gearbox and torque-assist clutch ensure smooth, fatigue-free operation.

Technology That Elevates Every Ride
The XE features Triumph’s ride-by-wire system, enabling six riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, Rider-configurable, Off-Road, and XE-exclusive Off-Road Pro. Each mode adjusts throttle response, ABS and traction control to suit terrain and rider preference. Off-Road Pro disables ABS and traction control completely, unlocking the XE’s full off-road potential.

A single-button cruise control system adds comfort on longer journeys, while a full-colour TFT display offers two design themes, three layout options, and automatic contrast adjustment. Riders can even personalise the start-up screen with their name.

Backlit switchgear and a five-way joystick provide intuitive control, and the XE is pre-enabled for the MyTriumph connectivity system, allowing access to calls, music and turn-by-turn navigation via the TFT interface. A USB charging port under the seat keeps devices powered on the go.

Scrambler-Defining Style
The XE’s silhouette is unmistakable. From its commanding stance and 21-inch front wheel to the sculpted fuel tank and ribbed bench seat, every detail is pure Scrambler. Premium finishes include a brushed aluminium Monza filler cap, anodised swingarm, aluminium number board and sump guard, and brushed badges.

There are over 70 genuine Triumph accessories available, from high touring screens and leather panniers to off-road enhancements. Each accessory is designed alongside the bike for perfect fit, finish and function. Owners can personalise their Scrambler to match their riding style and ambitions, with the confidence of an unlimited factory warranty.

ON THE ROAD
With two-year unlimited mileage warranty and a class-leading 10,000-mile (16,000 km) service interval, the Scrambler 1200 XE is built for more time on the road and less time in the workshop, giving riders the freedom to enjoy every mile.

Customers in the UK can configure and reserve their new Scrambler online, using Triumph’s new Reserve My Triumph technology. Securing their preferred model and choice of colour with a deposit via their nominated dealer, customers can ensure they are one of the first to collect their new bike. The new bike reservation service will be progressively introduced across Europe and other major markets from Spring 2026.

Available to order now at Triumph dealerships, from £13,895 and arriving in dealerships from December 2025. For more information or to find your local dealer, visit triumphmotorcycles.co.uk

The range has now expanded to include the Scrambler 400 XC.

●    The Modern Classics feature Triumph’s legendary Bonneville twin engine. Famously named to celebrate Triumph’s 1956 land speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, the Bonneville was the original British superbike and a race-winner straight out of the crate, chosen by famous motorcyclists of the past for its handling, style, and character. Now, the Bonneville family has evolved, with rider-focused technology and cool custom style. ●    In October 2025, Triumph Motorcycles launched its first electric youth motorcycles; the new Triumph TXP range, powered by OSET. This collaboration with the OSET team, who joined the Triumph family in 2022, has resulted in four new models with scalable electric performance, premium design, and built-in safety features for children as young as three. Each bike is engineered from the ground up with age-specific frames, geometry, controls, and components, optimised for the rider's size and experience.

●    Triumph’s racing legend continues as the exclusive engine supplier to the FIM Moto2™ World Championship since the start of the 2019 season. Triumph Motorcycles provides all the teams with race-tuned 765cc triples, each of which is based on the class-leading Street Triple RS powerplant. Redefining the class, Triumph broke record after record in the inaugural year, including the first ever +300km/h Moto2™ top speed. Reflecting these great successes, the wonderful feedback, and partnerships that Triumph have had with the riders and their teams, and the incredible response from Triumph fans across the world, Triumph and Dorna, decided to extend the relationship in 2021 and again in 2023, signing a new contract for another five years of racing: 2025 – 2029.

●    Triumph is working with PTR Triumph Factory Racing to participate in the 2025 World Supersport Championship. Tom Booth-Amos and Oli Bayliss are racing on the Street Triple 765. Macadam Triumph Factory Racing continues with British Supersport riders Luke Stapleford (2024 vice-champion) and Max Wadsworth. In the National Sportbike Championship, the team has a four-rider lineup on the Daytona 660; Brodie Gawith, Jayden Martin, Katie Hand and Lewis Smart, along with PHR Triumph’s Harrison Dessoy.

●    In 2023, Triumph announced its intention to compete in the 2024 MXGP/MX2 and SuperMotocross World Championships, and after a successful first season, is racing with a four-rider team for 2025. Jalek Swoll, Austin Forkner, Jordon Smith, and Mikkel Haarup are racing for the British manufacturer, competing on both coasts of Supercross and the full Pro Motocross series with the TF 250-X. In 2025, Jonny Walker took 2nd place overall in the SuperEnduro World Championship on his TF 250 and finished the 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo on a near-standard TF 250-E four-stroke. Racing for Triumph in EnduroGP aboard the TF 250-E, is the experienced duo of Jamie McCanney and Mikael Persson. Triumph competed at its first International Six Days Enduro in August with the TF 250-E contributing to Italy’s World Team Trophy victory and Team Sweden’s first podium in decades, as well as impressive top five individual finishes overall.
