A refined evolution of Triumph’s classic British cruiser, the Bonneville Speedmaster, has been unveiled, revealing a larger 14 litre fuel tank, more comfort and new rider-focused technology.

Muscular and commanding, the Speedmaster’s low-slung profile exudes cruiser confidence. For 2026, a larger fuel tank, sharper bodywork, and refined detailing give it an even bolder presence. The increased fuel capacity not only enhances its long-distance capability but also reinforces its purposeful stance, amplifying the Speedmaster’s unmistakable silhouette.

Wider rider and pillion seats offer enhanced support and greater comfort for longer journeys, while new, more conventional straighter handlebars create a more natural, but still relaxed riding position. Together, these enhancements elevate the Speedmaster’s engaging ride, as well as its touring capability.

This 2026 edition also features new rider-focused technology, gaining new lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, which discreetly gives riders an extra layer of confidence and control. A powerful new LED headlight with a signature DRL and a cockpit-mounted USB-C power socket add modern convenience and visibility, especially on longer journeys.

The spoked 16-inch wheels, fitted with wide 130 and 150-section tyres, deliver excellent grip in all conditions. New lightweight aluminium wheel rims reduce unsprung mass, enhancing agility and steering response, and sharpening the Speedmaster’s already effortless handling.

Available in two timeless colour schemes, riders can choose between Carnival Red & Crystal White or Sapphire Black & Crystal White, each designed to complement the Speedmaster’s custom cruiser attitude.

Enhanced Style and Presence
The Speedmaster’s silhouette remains timeless, but its presence on the road is now even more commanding.

The new, larger 14 litre fuel tank broadens the bike’s stance and extends its range, with restyled metal Triumph badges and beautifully crafted filler cap. Restyled side panels and intake covers create a sleeker, sharper look, and add a contemporary edge to its classic lines.

From vintage spark plug caps to carburettor-style throttle bodies and a classic side-mounted ignition barrel, every element of the Speedmaster has been meticulously crafted to deliver a truly authentic finish. The 1200cc high torque badge has been crafted from bronze, adding a premium touch. The shortened steel front mudguard, painted in Sapphire Black, feature the same centre ridge and return edge found on the rear, to enhance rigidity, as well as the style. The brushed engine covers and the clean engine design hides modern components for a truly authentic finish. The rear light and bullet style indicators are clean and classic.

Two new colour schemes are available for 2026, and customers can choose from Carnival Red over Crystal White with Empire Gold detailing, or Sapphire Black over Crystal White, also with Empire Gold detailing. From the deep lustre of the paint to the fine seat stitching and sparkling chrome that catches the light and every eye, the Bonneville Speedmaster is carefully crafted with a flawless finish.

 

Refined Comfort and Control
The Speedmaster’s riding position has been subtly refined for 2026, with new handlebars offering a more engaged feel while retaining the bike’s easy-going character. The low 705mm seat height ensures accessibility for riders of all sizes, and the seat configuration can be easily switched between twin and solo setups to suit personal style or touring needs.

Both rider and pillion seats have been redesigned with wider bases and deeper foam for improved comfort, finished with elegant contrast piping. Whenever the journey calls for company, the split seat delivers miles of shared comfort, and a pillion backrest can be added. For solo rides, remove the pillion pad to sharpen the stripped-back silhouette or add a rear luggage rack.

The Speedmaster’s innovative steel swing cage rear suspension conceals the linkage-driven monoshock, preserving the clean, stripped-back silhouette of a hardtail, delivering pure custom attitude with modern performance. Up front, 47mm Showa cartridge forks offer generous travel, allowing the Speedmaster to soak up whatever the road throws its way with ease.

Intuitive, rider-focused features include the new lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, powered by an advanced IMU, delivering seamless rider support in all conditions. Two riding modes, Road and Rain, adjust throttle response and traction settings, while cruise control adds convenience for longer journeys. A slip and assist clutch ensures smooth gear changes, and the ride-by-wire throttle system provides precise control. Brembo brake calipers and twin 310mm front discs offer powerful, progressive stopping performance.

 

Legendary Bonneville Performance
At the heart of the Speedmaster is Triumph’s liquid-cooled 1200cc Bonneville twin. With peak power of 78PS and a high torque output, peaking at 106Nm, and delivered low in the rev range, the engine responds instantly with every twist of the throttle, delivering an effortless surge of torque that propels the rider onward, chasing the horizon.

The 270-degree crank angle also ensures a responsive and engaging ride, while EURO 5+ compliance guarantees low emissions and excellent fuel economy. The chrome exhaust, which flows seamlessly into twin slash-cut silencers, delivers the Speedmaster’s signature deep, rich Bonneville sound.

A new A2 licence restrictor kit is available for 2026, allowing younger riders in Europe to experience the Speedmaster’s charm without waiting to complete their full licence.

 

Built to Be Personal
The Speedmaster is a platform for self-expression. With over 100 genuine Triumph accessories available, riders can tailor their bike to suit their style and needs.

From leather or wax cotton panniers to touring screens and footboards, high bars, teardrop mirrors, custom badges or a side-mounted licence plate hanger, all accessories are designed and tested alongside the bike and have with the same two-year unlimited mileage warranty as the motorcycle.

 

On the Road
With two-year unlimited mileage warranty and a class-leading 10,000-mile (16,000 km) service interval, the Speedmaster is built for more time on the road and less time in the workshop, giving riders the freedom to enjoy every mile.

Customers in the UK can configure and reserve their new Bonneville Speedmaster online, using Triumph’s new Reserve My Triumph technology. Securing their preferred model and choice of colour with a deposit via their nominated dealer, customers can ensure they are one of the first to collect their new bike. The new bike reservation service will be progressively introduced across Europe and other major markets from Spring 2026.

Now, the Bonneville family has evolved, with rider-focused technology and cool custom style. ●    In October 2025, Triumph Motorcycles launched its first electric youth motorcycles; the new Triumph TXP range, powered by OSET. This collaboration with the OSET team, who joined the Triumph family in 2022, has resulted in four new models with scalable electric performance, premium design, and built-in safety features for children as young as three. TRIUMPH RACING

●    Triumph has a glorious racing history, competing in and winning races in almost every class and field of motorcycle sporting achievement. From winning the second ever Isle of Man TT in 1908, through to 1960s road and track success in Europe and America, right up to contemporary racing achievements with the Triumph triple powered 2014 and 2015 SuperSport titles and World SuperSport racing, Isle of Man SuperSport TT wins in 2014 and 2019, courtesy of Gary Johnson and Peter Hickman, plus an average speed of over 130mph 2023 by Peter Hickman on his Triumph STR765, and a thrilling last-lap victory at the legendary Daytona 200 by Brandon Paasch on the Street Triple 765 in 2022.

●    Triumph’s racing legend continues as the exclusive engine supplier to the FIM Moto2™ World Championship since the start of the 2019 season. Triumph Motorcycles provides all the teams with race-tuned 765cc triples, each of which is based on the class-leading Street Triple RS powerplant. Redefining the class, Triumph broke record after record in the inaugural year, including the first ever +300km/h Moto2™ top speed. Reflecting these great successes, the wonderful feedback, and partnerships that Triumph have had with the riders and their teams, and the incredible response from Triumph fans across the world, Triumph and Dorna, decided to extend the relationship in 2021 and again in 2023, signing a new contract for another five years of racing: 2025 – 2029.

●    Triumph is working with PTR Triumph Factory Racing to participate in the 2025 World Supersport Championship. Tom Booth-Amos and Oli Bayliss are racing on the Street Triple 765. Macadam Triumph Factory Racing continues with British Supersport riders Luke Stapleford (2024 vice-champion) and Max Wadsworth. In the National Sportbike Championship, the team has a four-rider lineup on the Daytona 660; Brodie Gawith, Jayden Martin, Katie Hand and Lewis Smart, along with PHR Triumph’s Harrison Dessoy.

●    In 2023, Triumph announced its intention to compete in the 2024 MXGP/MX2 and SuperMotocross World Championships, and after a successful first season, is racing with a four-rider team for 2025. Jalek Swoll, Austin Forkner, Jordon Smith, and Mikkel Haarup are racing for the British manufacturer, competing on both coasts of Supercross and the full Pro Motocross series with the TF 250-X. Triumph earned its first Main Event win in Supercross in February 2025, and has enjoyed podium finishes in the Pro Motocross series in ’24 and ‘25. In the FIM MX2 World Championship Camden McLellan is competing for a second year aboard Triumph machinery, alongside Guillem Farres with podium results from ’24 and ’25, as well as a first moto win in April 2025.

●    In September 2024 Triumph revealed Motorsport legend and former world champion Paul Edmondson has officially been appointed Team Manager of Triumph Factory Racing’s enduro programme, which will see the brand represented at the highest levels of enduro competition worldwide. In 2025, Jonny Walker took 2nd place overall in the SuperEnduro World Championship on his TF 250 and finished the 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo on a near-standard TF 250-E four-stroke. Racing for Triumph in EnduroGP aboard the TF 250-E, is the experienced duo of Jamie McCanney and Mikael Persson. Triumph competed at its first International Six Days Enduro in August with the TF 250-E contributing to Italy’s World Team Trophy victory and Team Sweden’s first podium in decades, as well as impressive top five individual finishes overall.
